Kristin will share the basic building blocks of Japanese cooking, resources for the best ingredients, and demonstrate how I transform an often time-consuming and elaborate meal into a simple weekday breakfast.
The class will sit down to enjoy a Japanese breakfast together, complete with a soothing pot of green tea from Spirit Tea. You’ll go home with Kristin's Japanese Pantry Essentials Guide, ingredients for your first batch of dashi from local and Japanese food artisans, and a gorgeous handmade ceramic bowl from Nama-ya, the local Japanese ceramicist behind many of the dishes at Rintaro.
